Susan Journeyer has developed a new workshop session on building atmosphere in comics pages.
The workshop looks at how environment, pacing, texture and composition influence emotional tone, with practical exercises designed for emerging cartoonists and illustrators.
It is intended for libraries, festivals and small group teaching sessions, and can be adapted for a range of experience levels.
